Referral and Points Terms

1. Cashback Mechanics
Horura's rebate replaces commission. Each seller funds a single rebate (from 5% of the sale, chosen per listing) instead of paying a separate fee. The rebate is divided into three parts: one third to you as the buyer (as points), one third to whoever referred you, and one third to Horura. The rebate never changes what you pay for a booking.
2. Referral Mechanics
Your referral link or code connects you to anyone who signs up through it, but only one level deep. You earn when people you invited spend; you never earn from people they invite. Your referral relationship is set once, at signup, and can never be changed afterward. If a seller you referred later has a referral share on their own buyers, that share goes to your earnings instead, because sellers never earn a referral share from buyers they recruited.
3. Points Terms
1 point = 1 sen (100 pts = RM 1.00). Points from a booking appear immediately and become spendable the day after your trip's check-out, delivery or event date. Points expire 12 months after they are earned; we will remind you by email 30 days and again 7 days before expiry. Points can be spent on Horura, or withdrawn to your bank account from RM 50 (whole ringgit, no fee, paid within 7 working days).
4. Points Reversal and Debt
If an order is refunded or cancelled after points were earned on it, we take back the corresponding points proportionally, first from the batch earned on that order and then from other batches if needed. If you have already spent points that are taken back and no batches remain to deduct from, the shortfall becomes a points debt, shown on your wallet page. Your balance never goes negative. The debt is cleared automatically from the points you earn next, and you do not need to do anything.
5. Fraud Prevention
Each verified identity may hold one account. Referring yourself, or a circular chain in which two accounts refer each other, is blocked automatically. We monitor for wash-trading patterns (repeated buy-and-refund cycles between the same accounts) and may freeze an account's ability to redeem points while a case is reviewed. Earning is unaffected.
6. Redemption and Vouchers
Spendable points can be redeemed for cash vouchers or sponsor gifts in the voucher catalog. A verified phone number is required before your first redemption. Redemptions are final once issued and cannot be reversed.

We may update these terms as the rebate and points program changes. Any material changes will be shown here, with the updated date at the top of this page.
